Meet Karla Dennis

Karla K. Dennis is a Licensed Enrolled Agent. An Enrolled Agent is the designation granted to a select few who have exemplified expertise in the field of taxation and have passed a rigorous exam administered by the U.S. Treasury Department. Karla holds a Masters Degree in Taxation and is an authority on the tax code.

Since 1990, Ms. Dennis has operated her own business in taxes and accounting, surrounding herself with a cadre of skilled professionals including three other Licensed Enrolled Agents.

In 2006, Karla re-branded the business as Cohesive, a comprehensive tax, accounting, payroll and business consulting firm. Cohesive has flourished in the expansion, growing 30% per year in each of the last three years.

On a personal level, Karla is accomplished speaker and mentor, she is expanding horizons in both the social and business communities. Karla’s Cohesive Foundation was recently launched to provide financial education and literacy to young people.

Ms. Dennis is highly respected in the tax community and is often utilized by other tax professionals and attorneys as a consultant or expert witness. Ms. Dennis continues to give back to her community in various voluntary capacities.
